Nina Guerra, M.A.
Nina is a native of San Antonio, Texas, Marine Corps Veteran, and Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student.

Nina Guerra served ten years in the United States Marine Corps, where she cultivated a profound passion for leadership and community service. Serving with various agencies and special operation forces enhanced her knowledge and understanding of working with diverse cultures and individuals. Throughout her tenure, Nina served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. Connecting her experiences, she founded Rustic Ranch Equine-Assisted Wellness, a non-profit organization focused on sharing the benefits of the human-horse connection with veterans and community members. She has served as the Executive Director since 2021.
In 2022, Nina earned her M.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University, and in 2024, she completed her M.A. in Clinical Psychology. She is a graduate clinician and clinical psychology doctoral student at The Chicago School – Dallas, and she is on track to graduate with her doctorate in 2027. Specializing in trauma-informed care, mindfulness skills, and improving cognitive performance, she aims to elevate the lives of those she works with.
Nina is a leader, mentor, and clinician dedicated to positively impacting and promoting overall well-being.
She was named a 2024 Tillman Scholar, exemplifying the legacy of Pat Tillman’s service beyond self. She is committed to delivering high-quality care and services to veterans and her community.
